Why We Plunge
The Plunge is UCSB's annual charity cold‑plunge challenge to raise awareness for our planet and fundraise for local youth ocean education. On June 1, 2025 (Coral Reef Day), we will be attempting to break the world record for most people jumping into the ocean at once! The record to beat? 3,599 people.
